Exodus is a heavy metal (thrash metal) band composed of Ukrainian and American members that formed in 1979, riding the heavy metal wave of the 1980s into the early 1990s. Known for wild shows (and after parties) and high octane performances on stage, Exodus continued to thrill audiences up until their first breakup in 1993. The band has disbanded and reformed several times in the years since, releasing new music and touring together on a more or less consistent basis since 2001. They might be nearing their “silver age,” but the bad boys of Exodus still have the hair, the tattoos, and the wailing guitars that heavy metal fans pay to see!

Tour Name: The Bay Strikes Back Tour/Persona Non Grata Tour
Tour Dates: Spring 2022-February 2023
Exodus was initially scheduled to be part of The Bay Strikes Back Tour in 2021 with Testament and Death Angel, but the tour was pushed back until 2022 by the COVID-19 pandemic. This was fairly good timing for the band’s release of their Persona Non Grata album, released in late 2021, so Exodus ended up combining The Bay Strikes Back Tour with an extended Persona Non Grata Tour that took them across North America and Europe (the band has many fans in European countries), performing in such hotspots as Nashville, Cincinnati, and New York City.
Fans responded with rapture to Exodus’s 2022-23 tour. “[Exodus] soared through a career-spanning set that pleased all in attendance with memorable riffs, mosh-causing madness, and electrifying showmanship by way of all on stage,” enthused one fan after their Anaheim concert. A Vancouver fan was amazed by the verve of Exodus’s performance: “It is hard to believe that their debut album Bonded by Blood is nearly forty years old and that they can still deliver its heavenly harsh and heavy songs with the same fervid force as they did back in the day.
Exodus is not currently on tour in 2024, but please keep checking TicketX for updates!
Exodus was formed as a band in 1979 in Richmond, California by current drummer Tom Hunting and several others. No other original members apart from Hunting are still with the band, with many changes throughout the years caused by feuds, drug addictions, ill health, or deaths. The current lineup consists of Hunting along with Gary Holt, Steve "Zetro" Souza, Jack Gibson, and Lee Altus. Many of the other members have belonged to other major bands, such as Slipknot, in their careers. Despite its members nearing 60, Exodus shows few signs of slowing down, performing live frequently and continuing to release new music.
According to the Celebrity Net Worth website, Exodus’s total current net worth is reported at an estimated combined total of $33 million, with original member Tom Hunting having the highest personal estimated net worth at $10 million. Fans should note that calculating net worth is notoriously difficult due to the complex nature of accounting for ticket sales, recording royalties, assets, merchandising, and endorsements, and the fact that most financial information remains private.
