Four Tet, real name Kieran Miles David Hebden, is an electronic musician from England. He rose to fame when he was a member of the band Fridge, which played post-rock music. Later, he established himself as a solo artist and charted critically acclaimed albums. He has twelve studio albums as Four Tet and has also done improvisational works and collaborations with others. Four Tet is also known for producing albums and remixing tracks. He performs DJ mixes with producers like Skrillex and Fred Again. Four Tet was born in Putney, London, England where he attended Elliot School and joined Fridge. That band signed a record deal when he was 15 and released their first album in 1997. While in Fridge, he got a math and computer science degree from the University of Manchester. Four Tet took his name from the 1971 album of the same name by Harry Verbeke, a Dutch jazz saxophone player.
