Neil Young Tour 2024 Review

Tour Name: Love Earth

Tour Dates: April 24-September 29

Rolling Stone reviewed Neil Young’s latest tour and found it a fun evening to revisit classics. Fans loved when the band unveiled the lost verse to “Cortez the Killer”—they finally couldn’t sing along! Fans said they had a blast and that it was a great experience for everyone around them. It’s always a trip to see a legendary singer in person and Neil Young, even in his younger days, sounded old and seasoned.

Variety, on the other hand, dd not seem to be as favorable about Neil Young’s tour. This source reviewed his concert at New York’s Forest Hill Stadium in May. They stated that he and the band “plodded through” their stunning setlist. Fans complained that songs were played slower than they appear on their tracks and that the drummer could barely keep things going and lost beats and rhythm. Fans wondered if this might be the singer’s last tour because of the slowness overall.
