Regardless of initial skepticism, Tacomans duly welcome the facility, chiefly by green-lighting a $28 million bond back in 1980. Its building marked a turning point in the city’s history, heralding its emergence into the world stage.

Since its inception, the Tacoma Dome has hosted many an event; concerts and sporting competitions alike have left a positive mark on the cultural landscape of the metropolis. Currently, it continues to evolve, as a convention space for everything from community festivals to civic engagement.

Then, Tue May 14 brings Tomorrow x Together World Tour 'Act : Promise' In U.S., showcasing pop stars of tomorrow. Hip-hop fans can catch Lil Wayne - LIVE IN CONCERT on Fri May 17, followed by two nights of P!NK Live 2024 rock performances on Tue Sep 3 & Wed Sep 4.
