About Alexisonfire

Alexisonfire is a Canadian post-hardcore band formed in St. Catharines, Ontario in 2001, comprising vocalist George Pettit, guitarist and vocalist Dallas Green, guitarist Wade MacNeil, bassist Chris Steele, and drummer Jordan Hastings. Blending aggressive hardcore punk with melodic rock elements and a dynamic dual vocal approach, the band released four studio albums, including their self-titled debut (2002), Watch Out! (2004), Crisis (2006), which debuted at number one on the Canadian album charts, and Old Crows/Young Cardinals (2009). All of their albums achieved gold or platinum certification in Canada. After disbanding in 2012 following a farewell tour, the band reunited and released Otherness in 2022, their first full-length album in over a decade. Dallas Green is also widely known for his acclaimed solo project City and Colour.
