Holding Absence is a Welch band from Cardiff, Wales that has played rock music together since 2015. The trio, which is comprised of vocalist Lucas Woodland, bassist Benjamin Ellion, and guitarist Scott Carey, put out a collection of singles in 2017 and then a split EP in 2018. In 2019, they finally released their self-titled debut album. They got their band name from the song “Holding Your Absence” by the group Hammock.
