KETTAMA is the stage name of Evan Campbell, an Irish electronic music producer and DJ born on May 30, 1997, in Galway, Ireland, and currently based in London. At age sixteen Campbell began producing music on Ableton before switching to a cracked copy of FL Studio, and by seventeen was performing in clubs. He and longtime collaborator Shampain held residency in the backroom of Galway club Carbon before building an online following through SoundCloud and music forums. An unexpected booking from a promoter in China marked his international breakthrough. Campbell rose to wider prominence in 2018 with the track "B O D Y" from his Bucklyn Bridge EP, released on New York label Homage Records, which gained international traction through support from Mall Grab, The Black Madonna, and fellow Irish DJ Annie Mac. Known for a hard-hitting blend of house, techno, breakbeat, and rave sounds, KETTAMA has performed at major festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella, Electric Picnic, and Life Festival, and has released music on Steel City Dance Discs and his own imprint G-Town Records, co-founded with Shampain. His debut album Archangel, released in 2025 on Steel City Dance Discs, features a collaboration with Fred again.. He has also collaborated with Underworld and records under the aliases Samba Boys (with Tommy Holohan) and KETBOI69 (with Partiboi69).
