Mitski, who is also known as Mitsuki Miyawaki, was born Mitsuki Laycock. The American singer/songwriter, who was born in Japan to an American father and Japanese mother, self-released her first two albums while she studied composition in school. Her albums were her senior project at the Purchase College Conservatory of Music. After school, she signed with Dead Oceans and released three more albums, the last of which made it into the top ten in many counties. She co-wrote notable songs, like “This Is A Life,” which appeared in the film Everything Everywhere All At Once, for which she got an Academy Nomination for Best Original Score. She released her seventh album in 2023.

For the 2024 tour, Mitski has a host of opening acts following her around. For the first part of her tour, Tamino, Sunny War, Julia Jacklin, Cowboy Junkies, and Sarah Kinsley will support her. In the second leg, she will bring Lamp, Arlo Parks, Ethel Cain, Laufey, and Wyatt Flores. Check the venue you want to see her at and see which opening act corresponds with that date.
Uproxx reports that based on Mitski’s stop in Durham, North Carolina, her concert is running 2 hours and 8 minutes long. She plays 25 songs and does 2 encores. That puts Mitski herself on stage for about 1 hour and 19 minutes while her opening acts take the rest of the time available.

The Independent reviewed Mitski’s May 9 concert and said that Mitski in concert is undeniably a phenomenon. Fans were ready for her songs and appeared hungry to see more after each song ended. Some of her TikTok favorite songs made people in the crowd feel “seen.”
Some people were put off by her positive self-talk, as she said she “knew she was a hottie.” Fans described her as being on guard and open-hearted yet somehow detached.

Celebrity Net Worth states that Mitski has a net worth of $4 million.
Net worth is hard to estimate as some financial information is private and unavailable. With celebrities, income piles up from numerous avenues, not just one monthly check, so it can be hard to figure out how much they get and from where.
Mitski is slated to perform 42 concerts over the course of the year. If she makes $100,000 per concert, she’ll clear $4.2 million from the performances alone.
Her streaming numbers are high, too. Her biggest song on Spotify, “My Love Mine All Mine,” is streamed over 2 million times a day. At just $0.01 per stream, that would earn her $7.3 million once the year is complete.
Add to these things special appearances, merchandising, endorsements, and other sources of income, and Mitski could make over $11.5 million in 2024.
