Sublime is a ska/punk/reggae band from Long Beach, California that features a Dalmatian as its mascot. When Bradley Nowell, one of the members, passed away from a heroin overdose in 1996, the band broke up. Some of their songs were released on US radio in 1997. They released 3 studio albums and 1 live album. Their commercial success came with their third, self-titled album, which came out 2 months after founding member Nowell died. In 2009, the band reformed.
