Chartway Arena, formerly known as The Ted Constant Centre, is a $47 million state-of-the-art multi-purpose entertainment facility in Norfolk, United States. Located on the campus of Old Dominion University, it was opened in 2002 and is home to the University’s Men's and Women's Basketball teams. It is one of the most accessible entertainment facilities in Hampton Roads, courtesy of the management operations by the Oak View Group (OVG360). The Arena hosts a diverse range of events aside from sports, such as family-oriented shows, lectures, banquets, commencements, and concerts.
Chartway Arena is approximately 219,330 sq feet and is segmented into four sections. The seating bowl, 10,000 sq feet of multi-purpose rooms that can be used for conferences and seminars, “back of the house” for support center operations, and lastly, extra spaces for patrons. This facility can seat over 8,600 attendees for basketball games and other sports events but the seating capacity may be increased to 9,000 for special events like family shows and concerts.
The Chartway Arena seating layout is flexible and varies from event to event. The seating arrangement for concerts is different from that of basketball events. Within the Arena are 8,600 seats, 862 priority or club seats, and 16 luxury suites that boasts of high-class furnitures and upscale catering services. In addition, there are 85 barrier free seats alongside 85 companion seats. In total, the Arena can accommodate 10,000 guests if floor seating is added, to show how small but mighty the facility is.
Other perks that Chartway Arena offers its guests are intimate seating that features 62 courtside seats, premium seating, and group seating options. The architectural design and structure of Chartway Arena were fashioned to accommodate guests with special needs. There are also ample and accessible seating options available for guests with physical disabilities throughout the Arena.
Chartway Arena will continually remain home to the ODU Monarchs Men's and Women's basketball games and ODU wrestling matches as well. It has, over the years, played a pivotal role not only within ODU but for the Hampton Roads community.

Chartway Arena has a shuttle bus system that conveys attendees from several locations within the campus to the venue. From Norfolk, you can join the Line 800 tram for US$4 or go through the Line 002 bus for US$2 to Chartway Arena.

Adjacent to Chartway Arena are two parking spaces, Parking Garages 43 & 45, that can accommodate over 2,000 cars in total. There are also free parking spaces on the Old Dominion University campus.
