Based in Dallas, Texas, Dos Equis Pavilion—formerly known as Starplex Pavilion—is a 20,000-capacity outdoor amphitheater under the operational management of Live Nation. The venue opened back in 1988, becoming the first and largest of its kind in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
Dos Equis Pavilion at Fair Park offers a blend of reserved and open-air general admission lawn seating and features top-tier national and international concert tours from April to October every year.
The venue attracts some of the biggest names in music, including Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Ozzy Osbourne and Foo Fighters, all of whom have performed at the venue in recent years.
With the venue now in its activity season, it has an exciting lineup of events for the coming weeks and months, catering to virtually every taste.
The next best thing comes on April 12th, when Gloria Trevi makes a stop to treat the audience to pop beats. On April 28th, rock vibes will be on the music menu as Irish musician, singer, and songwriter Hozier comes on stage with his folk, soul and blues.
To get May off to a good start, the Foo Fighters—an American rock band formed hailing from Seattle—will perform on the first day of the month. This show will be closely followed by that of American rock band Neil Young Crazy Horse on April 2nd. Country crooner Cody Jinks comes next on May 11th, while 21 Savage brings the hip-hop groove on May 15th.
As for the month of June, it will be packed with performances from notables such as Alanis Morissette, Foreigner & Styx and The Doobie Brothers. Some Latin flair will also come to the fore, from performances by Caifanes and Café Tacvba.
