The Gorge Amphitheatre is an outdoor concert venue that used to be called Champs de Brionne Music Theater. The venue is located in Grant County, Washington near the Columbia River in the middle of the state. ConcertBoom voted Amphitheater one of the Best Concert Venues in the Country and it won ‘Best Outdoor Music Venue’ 9 times from Pollstar. When it opened in 1986, it seated only 3,000 fans, but today, it has expanded to include over 20,000 more people.
Since there are tens of thousands of people in the Gorge Amphitheatre at any given time for an event, it’s best for everyone if the rules are followed. Guests who do not follow the regulations could be asked to leave without getting a refund on their ticket. Here are a few policies to note:
Standard cameras are often allowed, but professional ones are not. Some artists do not allow cameras at all. Check the policies on the event you plan to attend before you take something you are not allowed to have.
The venue is cashless, so you will want to have a credit or debit card with you or another form of mobile pay. There are cash for card exchanges at Guest Services without any service fees.
Cell phones are usually allowed, but comedy shows, and certain artists may not permit them to be used during the show.
Those who commit to being designated drivers for their groups are able to get free fountain drinks from Guest Services to the right of the stage for the duration of the show they attend.
No weapons are allowed anywhere on the property including the campgrounds.
All guests are expected to act respectfully. If anyone is being unsafe or breaking rules, they can be asked to leave without question.
To reduce the contact between staff and guests as well as their belongings, Gorge Amphitheatre asks that all guests bring only clear PVC, plastic, or vinyl bags. These bags can be 12x6x12” or smaller. You can also take a clutch bag that is 6x9” or smaller.
You cannot take coolers, camera bags, backpacks, bag chairs, or any other enclosed item. The only other allowed back is a gallon-sized (Or smaller) Ziploc bag with food in it.

The Gorge Amphitheatre wants everyone to be able to enjoy its shows with the greatest comfort. Here are some of the accessibility options:
Seating
There are accessible seats in every price range, but they do sell out. It is a good idea to reserve your seat when you purchase the original tickets. If you are injured and cannot use the ticket you got for your first seat, you can ask for a different seat and the venue staff will do what they can, but there are no guarantees.
Terrain Issues
The Gorge venue is hilly and rather rough. There are service vehicles that can transport you from the gate to the drop off point closer to the low bowl of the arena. You can also get transport to the campground. You can only take yourself and one companion on these rides. Shuttles run after the show as well.
