The Orpheum Theatre is located adjacent to Phoenix City Hall at 3rd Avenue and Monroe. In 1997, the Orpheum Theatre became home of the newly-formed Phoenix Opera. In addition to the Phoenix Opera, the Orpheum Theatre presents concerts, Broadway musicals, performances of Ballet Arizona and special events. The Orpheum is characterized by the atmospheric style, with the audience sitting in a garden surrounded by Spanish-style buildings, murals of mountains, and forests, under puffy white clouds moving across a deep blue domed sky.
Over the years, Orpheum Theatre Phoenix has hosted an impressive lineup of performers, including renowned musicians and community-oriented events. Given its history, the venue is set to continue attracting notable artists. Several artists have already announced their performance shows for this year.
