Truist Park Events

Truist Park opened in 2017 as the shiny new home of the storied Atlanta Braves MLB franchise, replacing Turner Field, once principal host venue of the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics, but less than ideal in terms of location and renovation costs. Truist Park has a very attractive design with extensive brickwork and a warm open layout. For such a young venue, the place has had quite the christening as a baseball park, witnessing six exciting postseason campaigns by the Braves in the past seven seasons (the team only missed out in 2017 itself, but maybe they were just getting used to the place that year). The peak of the excitement came to Truist Park in October 2021, with full house crowds watching their Braves push through all the way to the World Series, where they defeated the Houston Astros in six games to seal the franchise’s fourth-ever league title. Along with all regular season and playoff Braves home games, Truist Park also occasionally hosts college sports and concerts, as well as other events. Anyone arriving at Truist Park on an empty stomach won’t be hungry for long, with delicious offerings like Atlanta smokehouse BBQ, double-stack cheeseburgers, and sweet popsicles (sold from a traveling popsicle stand!) on the menu. There is also excellent craft beer sold on site. Team and event merchandise, much of it featuring the Braves iconic tomahawk logo, can be found at the plentiful kiosks and shops around Truist Park.

Truist Park Seating Chart

Truist Park is a big venue containing many different seating options for visitors to choose from. Those looking to watch the game in style can opt for premium seating such as the Delta Sky360 Club, which is composed of seats in the infield between the dugouts, affixed with tables for comfortable drinking and dining with a great view of the on-field action. There is also a 4-star hotel with rooms overlooking the stadium. Throughout most of the stadium, a broad assortment of general seating can be found, with everything from more expensive seats lower down and closer to the infield to cheaper options higher up or past the outfield fence. Special attention was devoted when constructing the ballpark to ensuring that those in the upper tiers would have much better views than they had at Turner Field, and the result is a much improved experience for all fans attending games. TicketX is the place to find out which tickets are available to games and events at Truist Park. Our useful seating chart is also a great way to compare different seating options

Getting to Truist Park via public transportation

Your only option for getting to Truist Park via public transportation is the city bus (either CobbLink or MARTA buses), which may be difficult if you are not located in the right part of the city. Visit MLB’s official Braves website for full bus details, maps, and directions. Taking a taxi or ride-share to Truist Park might be a simpler option.

Getting to Truist Park by car

Most people choose to travel to Truist Park by driving their own vehicles and in fact one of the team’s motivations in building the stadium outside the busy core of the city was to cater better to those arriving by car with better roads and parking facilities. That said, traffic in Atlanta can be pretty heavy at the best of times and even more so when games or big events are going on, so plan to arrive even earlier than you think you need to. MLB’s official Braves website has simple but useful driving directions.

Does Truist Park have on-site parking?

There is plenty of parking in the large dedicated lots around Truist Park as well as off-site in nearby neighborhoods. Head to MLB’s official Braves website for parking maps and information.
