Balance & Composure

Balance & Composure is an alternative rock band characterized by extreme emotions and dynamics reigning in sounds. Their status was made first, back in 2011, through their Separation album alone, where the band could balance intense rock beats with some really catchy underlying melodies. Balance & Composure , at times given a very different voice, thirty-two-year-old Jon Simmons, with his great, passionate vocals and intricate guitar riffs. It's the phenomenal live performance that has earned them critical acclamation and won over their die-hard fanbase, highly acclaimed based on albums like The Things We Think We're Missing and Light We Made.

Balance & Composure Tour 2024 Review

Tour Name: With You in Spirit

Tour Dates: June 26- October 13

Fan reviews of the live concert for Balance and Composure merge nostalgia with high energy. The band took some time off from performing, so with this being somewhat of a comeback performance, the energy and excitement felt it. Fans did believe that it really connected themselves with the audience, thinking that the band was electric, playing really deep and meaningful songs that reached the audience. Many people really credit the lead singer, Jon Simmons, for bringing a lot of fun into the stage performance with his light and agile dancing. Overall, it went quite well.

Despite all the rave reviews regarding Balance and Composure, there have been a few sour notes. Some fans reported feeling several of the venue options took away from the overall experience. The consensus from fans was that many of the spaces were too small for the audience to enjoy themselves or obstructed views. Though fans have admitted that not having played for so long would have brought the excitable energy in knowing the band wasn't performing, there was a negative experience with the stage diving and crowd surfing that made the crowd tense and uncomfortable. Some reviewers pointed out the instances when the energy of the band seemed really lacking, and all the songs blurred into one without any really standing out.

Overall, a Balance and Composure concert was a great concert, and many fans highly recommended their music, as well as seeing them live in order to enjoy a powerful and emotional experience.
