China Forbes is a singer/songwriter who has led the band Pink Martini since 1995. Forbes grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and attended Harvard to study visual arts. She met a classically trained pianist there and started playing music with him. She then won the Jonathan Levy Prize for acting.
