Owen Riegling is a country music singer and songwriter. His charting songs include “Love (The Sweater Song)”, “Moonshines,” and “Old Dirt Roads”. Riegling grew up in Midmay, Ontario on a 100-acre farm where he started playing guitar at age 11. He performed for his guitar teacher’s band and performed covers at local venues. After high school, he went to business school but decided he enjoyed music more and went to the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology for music production. He released his first song independently in 2019 and has since released two EPs. He won the Emerging Artist Showcase contest from Boots and Hearts in 2022 and got a trip to Nashville and recording sessions. His debut radio single came out in 2023 and he was nominated for the “Rising Star” CMA Ontario Award. He was nominated for four Canadian Country Music Awards in 2024.
