The Allman Betts Family Revival is a rock group that formed in 2018 with the songs of three founding members of the Allman Brothers Band. The band members include Devon Allman, who is the son of Gregg Allman, Berry Duane Oakley, who is the son of Berry Oakley, and Duane Betts, who is the son of Dickey Betts. The Allman Betts Family Revival plays mostly original songs, but they mix in classic Allman Brothers covers, too. They have released two albums, the first in 2019 and the second in 2020, and have toured both nationally and internationally. In addition to the three sons of original members, the band also includes Johnny Stachela, John Ginty, Alex Orbison, and John Lum. The band took a break from touring and recording starting in 2022 to work on solo material, but they reunited in 2023 at the Norfolk Harborfest and started a new tour in 2024.
