The House of Blues is a chain of live music halls/restaurants founded by actor Dan Ackroyd (star of The Blues Brothers film) in 1992 at Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts that now has locations across the US and around the world. The House of Blues Dallas branch, which opened in 2005, has attracted top touring acts from all over the country as well as providing a stage for local up-and-coming bands and solo artists. Drinks and food are available, with a range of different smaller spaces such as the Cambridge Room allowing for more intimate gatherings such as banquets, receptions, or intimate live concerts.
Along with its sister venue in Houston, House of Blues Dallas gives music lovers in Texas the chance to watch talented musicians and top bands from across the musical spectrum (it’s more than just the blues!). Artists have been drawn to perform at the House of Blues Dallas due to its sold out crowds and varied rooms, all of which have state of the art sound, acoustics, and lighting.
