The House of Blues is a chain of live music halls that include restaurants founded by actor Dan Ackroyd (star of The Blues Brothers) in 1992 at Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but now has locations across America and around the world. The House of Blues Houston branch opened in 2008 and has continuously brought in top musicians and bands from all over the country as well as featuring local up-and-coming musicians. Drinks and food are available, with a range of different small rooms such as the Bronze Peacock Room providing spaces for more intimate gatherings like banquets, receptions, or small live concerts.
