The Inuit Dome is under construction in Inglewood, California. This indoor arena will be home to the NBA team, the Los Angeles Clippers. The team has not had its own dedicated arena since they moved to the Staples Center in 1999. The arena's groundbreaking was held in 2021 and is scheduled to open in August 2024. It will also be the basketball venue for the Summer Olympics in 2028.
The Intuit Dome wants every guest to have an optimal experience. Here are a few of the rules to help you enjoy whatever you view at this arena:
Mobile Tickets
The venue accepts only mobile tickets, which you can access through the Intuit Dome app. The app will send event details 2 weeks in advance and will require a verification process.
Cashless
When you enter Intuit Dome, you do not need cash of any kind. Every vendor and concession stand accepts only cards. You can turn any cash into a card inside the arena if you need to do so.
Parking Garage Hours
The parking lots and garages open 3 hours before any event the venue holds.
Door Opening
The arena doors open 60 minutes before the start of any basketball game.
The opening hours for concerts will depend on the event. Details should be marked on your ticket and online.
Smoking Policy
There is no smoking inside the dome. You can smoke in designated areas outside.
Outside Food & Drink
Outside food and beverages will be confiscated at the security. Leave them behind to streamline that portion of your visit.
Utilize the Intuit Dome app
This app allows you to have an easy experience. You can download your tickets, find your seats, and navigate parking through the app.
Most bags are not allowed inside the Intuit Dome, but there are a few exceptions. Here are the bags you can bring:
Personal Clutches 4x6x1.5” or smaller
Medical or Childcare Bags 14x14x5 or smaller
Any bags you bring will have to be screened by an X-ray machine.
Check more details about Intuit Dome on their official website.
The Intuit Dome features two main seating charts: one for concerts and one for basketball games. You can check the seating location for tickets you got on the Intuit Done Seating Chart.
Since the Intuit Dome is set to open in August, there are no reviews yet of the various seating areas in the venue. However, Undercover Tourist reports there is a special section in the arena for basketball games only, which includes 51 rows behind the basket by the visitor’s bench. This area is called “The Wall” and will be a high-energy, fun place to watch any game.
The Intuit Dome website says the arena is built so there is no such thing as a ‘bad seat’, whether you are sitting or standing. It describes how everyone will feel as if they are ‘hovering over the stage.’ Plus, it touts comfortable seats and extra legroom throughout the venue.
Acoustics are important to any concert venue, and the arena personnel say they left no stone unturned to ensure only the highest sound quality for every big-name act they book.
The Intuit Dome is minutes from LAX and down the street from its sister arena, the Kia Forum. The venue’s website has driving directions from the North, South, and West Freeways and a map of the area. Figure out from which direction you will approach and follow the map from there.
There are well over 4,000 parking spots around the Intuit Dome. While you can arrive and park wherever you want, it is also possible to pre-purchase your spot in one of 3 garages. To get your parking spot in advance, visit the event page, choose your event, and click ‘Buy Parking’ below that event.
Most parking opens 3 hours before the event begins and costs around $60, depending on your chosen garage.
There are also parking garages outside of those owned by the venue. They range in cost from $30-$50, but they are farther away from the venue and less accessible.
Since the Intuit Dome can hold so many fans at once, ride-sharing is a great option. Ask to be dropped off at the Intuit Dome Mobility Hub, which is located in the East Parking Garage. You can also reach the arena through the local bus system.
