Capacity: 10,823
Events: Baseball games
Home Teams: FCL (Florida Complex League) Red Sox, Boston Red Sox Spring Training venue
JetBlue Park is the baseball park that the Boston Red Sox use for spring training. The Fort Myers, Florida venue opened in 2012 to replace separated facilities for the training facilities and minor league complex. The field has the same measurements as Fenway Park but enjoys unique features as well. One such feature is the Green Monster, which is a wall with seating in it that sits out in left field. The manual, vintage scoreboard is another intriguing detail.
Many items are prohibited from JetBlue Park. Here are some of the items listed on the security page that you will want to leave behind:
Bags above the allowed size
Firearms
Knives or any other weapon
Marijuana, even the medical variety
Pepper spray
Coolers
Alcohol
Beach balls
Costumes or masks
Lawn chairs
Professional video/camera equipment
Offensive clothing
In addition to the items that are not allowed, there are other security guidelines to note:
No one can exit and re-enter the park
All areas of the park are smoke and tobacco free
Drones cannot be used in the area
No one may interfere with any balls in play
Throwing objects on the field results in ejection from the venue
Bags must only have one compartment and have to be smaller than ”12x12x6” in size. Any bag with more than one compartment is not allowed. The only exceptions are diaper bags and medical equipment bags. Clear bags help with the security process, but they still cannot be larger than the above size.
JetBlue Park is used primarily as a baseball field, but it’s always wise to check the official map and see where your seats are before you travel to the venue.. Confirm your seat location on the JetBlue Park Seating Chart right here.
Berm Seating
Over the Monster did a thorough review of fans’ experiences at JetBlue Park. In the review, fans sat in the Bern Seating, which is a lawn in the outfield. There are no seats, which is why it’s so cheap at just $5 a ticket. Having an actual seat is $20 or more. It was hard for fans on a budget to beat seeing spring training games from this vantage point.
While some enjoyed Berm Seating because of the price, others didn’t like that it was harder to see the whole field from the ground level. The concourse, where anyone can walk during a game, gives fans a much better view.
Section H 101
Fans from Trip Advisor visited the park for a Red Sox game and sat in Section H 101. This section is right behind home plate and gives fans a great view of the batting action.
Some fans in this section envied those sitting along the first baseline at first, as they were in the shade. Later, it was the third base section that sat in the shade. The rooftop allows for many shaded areas throughout the park at different hours.
We recommend checking into seats in the F105 section. This section is in the first base box and gives you a great view of the action just off home plate.
JetBlue Park is easily accessible by car. Simply get on I-75 North and Exit at Daniels Parkway, which is Exit 131. Take a right, or east, off that exit. Go through the Treeline and Daniels intersection and the ballpark is 1.6 miles ahead on the left.
Parking for any Spring Training game or session is included with your ticket purchase.
For other games or events, fans are encouraged to buy parking passes before arriving.
There are several tiers to the parking areas: General Admission, Premium Parking, Gen Parking, FLE, and West Lot.
The venue implemented free parking to expedite ballpark entry for games.
You can also find Public Parking at 645 Beacon Street, or park in the Fenway Center Bower Garage at 771 Beacon Street.
While venue parking is included in your ticket price, private parking around the venue is not. If you want to leave the game faster and you park outside the park, you can expect to pay $20 or more for your parking.
Bus 50 has a direct line to JetBlue Park at Fenway South. You can also take ride-sharing options or have someone drop you off at the venue’s entrance.
