Piedmont Park

As a large stretch of green space right in the heart of urban Atlanta since 1895, Piedmont Park has provided city residents with a breath of fresh air for well over a century. Originally an exhibition space used for large fairs and exhibitions, the park gradually evolved into a space used by joggers, dog-walkers, sunbathers, and families. Concerts, live performances, and music festivals are held in the park from time to time.

Piedmont Park has been known to host concerts and music festivals that attract a wide range of talented musicians and bands from across the musical spectrum. Tickets are sold for certain events, while other events are free of charge. In 2024, Jeff Kashiwa is scheduled to perform on May 4, with other major events sure to follow. Shakespeare performances are also set to be a popular attraction (dates TBA).
