Wallows is an alternative rock band from Los Angeles that started in 2017. The trio, Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston, began releasing songs independently and their song “Pleaser” went number two on the Global Viral 50 chart from Spotify. The group signed a record deal in 2018 and released their debut studio album in 2019. Their latest album, the third, came out in 2024. As teens, the group formed their band at Join the Band, a music studio. They were all students at the GigMasterz Program in Southern California and were originally called Feaver. They changed their name to Narwhals and then later settled on Wallows in 2017. Wallows’ musical style is described as surf punk, indie pop, power pop, indie rock, post-punk, alternative rock, and bedroom pop.
