Anberlin is an alternative rock band that got together in 2002 in Winter Haven, Florida. The band went through line-up changes but has been consistent since 2007. The band was originally called SaGoh 24/7 and released two studio albums before it broke apart. The group reformed, changed musical direction and name, and within a year of becoming Anberlin, they signed with a semi-independent label. Their third album was their first to reach the top 20 in the Billboard 200. It sold 34,000 copies in its first week. The group disbanded in 2014 after recording its seventh album. They toured one last time but reunited in 2019 after playing a few concerts together. They came out with new music in 2022.
