Lakefront Music Fest

Lakefront Music Fest started as the Lakefront Jazz & Blues Festival in 2010. It always takes place on Prior Lake but has now grown into one of the largest outdoor music events in the Twin Cities region. After two years, the organizers expanded the festival to two nights, one that focuses on country and one that revolves around rock. Attendance has increased each year since the festival began. Over 32,000 fans attended Lakefront Music Fest in 2024. The festival isn’t for-profit, exactly. Instead, the proceeds from the event benefit the Rotary Foundation. This organization supports education, humanitarian, and environmental activities in and around the community. In 2025, Foreigner will headline Rock Night while Miranda Lambert will take the stage for the countryside of the festival.
