About Rebelution

Rebelution is a reggae rock band that got together in Isla Vista, California, in 2004. The members all completed their schooling at the University of California, Santa Barbara. After getting together, they built their fan base and played shows locally while releasing an independent EP. Once the members graduated, they released their full-length album in 2007. Their crafty melodies and socially conscious lyrics led to mass downloads and plenty of radio play. One of their band members left after tiring of the rigorous touring schedule, and they were left as a four-piece group. Two years later, they released their second album with a new record label, which they founded themselves. Their third album came out in 2012 and sold over 16,000 copies in the first week. Rebelution settled into headlining festivals and topping charts. They also created Rebelution IPA with a brewing company, and they have partnerships with other brands as well.
