Seattle Reign has been a professional women's soccer team since 2012 and is one of the eight founding members of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). From 2020 to 2023, the power team was known as OL Reign – since 2024 it has been allowed to use its original name again. Reign can look back on a successful history. The players brought home NWSL Shield victories in 2014, 2015 and 2022. Head coach Laura Harvey was able to celebrate significant successes with the team: for example playoff appearances and league awards. Since 2022, Seattle Reign has played its home games at Lumen Field – in previous years they played at Starfire Sports Complex, Memorial Stadium and Cheney Stadium.
