About Shane Smith and The Saints
Shane Smith & The Saints is an American Red Dirt country band formed in Austin, Texas in 2011, led by singer-songwriter Shane Smith. Blending country, folk, and roadhouse rock into a hard-hitting roots sound, the group has built a devoted following through relentless touring, often exceeding 200 shows per year. The band released their debut album Coast in 2013, followed by Geronimo (2015), Hail Mary (2019), and most recently Norther (2024). Their music explores themes of life, love, heartache, and perseverance through gritty storytelling and harmony-driven performances. They gained wider national exposure through multiple appearances on the TV series Yellowstone. In 2023, the band sold out Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 36 hours and headlined Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, marking major milestones for the independent group. Shane Smith & The Saints continue to build a passionate fanbase in the modern American roots music scene.
