TOMORROW X TOGETHER(TXT) is a South Korean boy band from the famous management agency "Hybe" which also produced the renowned BTS. They released the extended play "The Dream Chapter: Star". It peaked at No.1 on the Gaon Album Chart and Billboard World Albums Chart and ranked No.140 on the US Billboard 200. Its lead single "Crown" earned No.1 on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart. They received several new artist awards including Rookie of the Year at the 34th Golden Disc Awards, the 2019 Melon Music Awards, New Artist of the Year at the 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards, and Best New Male Artist at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
From their March 4, 2019, Big Hit Entertainment (now Big Hit Music) debut, Tomorrow X Together, or TXT, has undergone a rapid ascent to prominence. With their first EP, The Dream Chapter: Star, the South Korean boy band—which consists of Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and HueningKai—made an immediate impression on the K-pop scene. This album broke the record for the highest-charting debut album by a male K-pop group at the time by topping the Gaon and Billboard World Albums Charts in addition to making a strong debut on the US Billboard 200. As their lead single "Crown" shot to the top of the Billboard World Digital Songs list, the group won multiple new artist honors in a short period of time. The group's name, TXT, which stands for Tomorrow X Together, represents the idea of five people uniting under a common goal of creating a better tomorrow. Their pre-debut events were highly welcomed; each member's introduction film gained a lot of attention. Record-breaking YouTube views for their "Crown" music video and quick album sales during their early popularity demonstrated their broad appeal and devoted following. Significant accomplishments followed for TXT, including the release of their debut studio album, The Dream Chapter: Magic, which topped charts and further solidified their position in the music industry thanks to its wide range of musical genres. Their popularity grew as a result of their international tours, participation in important music festivals like Lolllapalooza and engagements in Japan. They achieved notable successes such as their Japanese debut with "Magic Hour" and the publication of other songs in both Japanese and English, demonstrating their appeal to a wide audience. The trio has received multiple prizes for its inventive songs and performances, including album certifications and rookie honors from significant Korean music award events. Their popularity abroad is demonstrated by their consistent placement at the top of charts in Korea and Japan, as well as their notable entry into the US market. With releases like The Chaos Chapter: Freeze and its repackage Fight or Escape, TXT continues to experiment with different themes and sounds in 2021, showcasing their variety and artistic development. Their performance at Lolllapalooza created history, demonstrating their popularity throughout the world and standing as key members of the K-pop genre's fourth generation. Their interaction with fans on Weverse and other platforms, as well as their contributions to soundtracks and joint ventures with international musicians, demonstrate their growing prominence outside of the music charts. TXT's story is one of explosive growth and constant innovation, and their music and message are recognized all over the world. Future endeavors and tours, like the 2024 world tour ACT: PROMISE, are expected to further establish their position in the international music landscape by showcasing their enduring appeal and the close bond they have developed with their fan base.
