Fortunate Youth is a reggae rock band that hails from Hermosa Beach, California. The group formed in 2009 at a birthday party for the man who became their longtime manager. They devoted their music to spreading peace, love, and unity and released their first EP in 2010. Their debut album came out the following year and went to number two on the reggae charts on iTunes. It peaked at number thirteen on the Billboard Charts. The album’s layout and conceptual art were created by a close friend of the band members.
