About Jungle
Jungle was formed by producers Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland in London in 2013. This dance music project has released four studio albums so far. The founders were friends for nine years and next-door neighbors. They formed an indie band together in 2012 but formed Jungle a year later. Jungle strives to emphasize artwork and videos instead of the musicians’ identity. The band works with different artists across the board and currently includes seven pieces, including the original producers.
Jungle released their first single, “The Heat," in 2013. They were then nominated for a Sound of 2014 prize from the BBC. By 2014, they had played on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Their first album came out in 2014, and to celebrate, they had a launch party on a rooftop, which was recorded by drones. Since that time, their music has been featured in TV shows, such as “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, “Superstore,” and “Looking.” Jungle is also well known for its one-shot dance videos, which the band producers direct and choreograph.
