The tournament currently involves 4 NCAA Division I college basketball teams, all from different conferences, that face off in a pair of semifinals on the first day, followed by a consolation game for the losers and a championship game for the winners. The Auburn Tigers were Legends Classic champions in 2023, thanks to a 77-60 win over the St. Bonaventure Bonnies, while the Texas Longhorns won the tournament in 2024 with a 67-58 triumph over the Saint Joseph’s Hawks.
