About Noizu

Noizu is the stage name of Jacob Plant, an English DJ, record producer, and label founder born in London who is now based in Los Angeles, California. He began producing music at age thirteen, initially immersed in rock and metal before discovering rave and electronic music, which led him to pivot to house and tech-house. He launched the Noizu project after relocating to Los Angeles, where he debuted on the Chris Lake and Skrillex-curated HOWSLA compilation in 2017 with the track "Lasers." His first official remix — DJ Snake's "A Different Way" featuring Lauv — drew further attention, and he followed with the Jungle EP, supported by Diplo, Oliver Heldens, and A-Trak. In summer 2018 he founded his own imprint, Techné Records. His collaborative single "Rave Alarm" with Dombresky was named "Hottest Record in the World" by BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac. His breakthrough single "Summer 91 (Looking Back)" reached the BBC Radio 1 A-list, entered the UK charts, and became his signature track. He has since performed at EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and major clubs worldwide.
