About Sonny Fodera

Sonny Fodera is an Australian house DJ and producer born in Adelaide, South Australia, now based in London. He began producing hip-hop beats in his mid-teens before being inspired to pursue house music at age 18 after seeing American DJ Derrick Carter perform. After building a reputation on the underground club circuit, he released his first two albums on Green Velvet's Cajual Records label, followed by his breakthrough album Frequently Flying (2016) on Defected Records. In 2017 he founded his own imprint Solotoko. Known for his vocal-driven, pop-forward house sound, he has collaborated with artists including Calvin Harris, Diplo, MK, Dom Dolla, and Ella Eyre. His 2024 single Somedaysfeaturing Jazzy and D.O.D reached number five on the UK Singles Chart and earned platinum certifications in the UK and Australia.
