Thrice is a rock band that formed in 1998 in Irvine, California. The group was put together by the lead singer and guitarist who went to high school together. They started out utilizing heavily distorted guitars and changes in time signatures, which you can hear quite a bit in their 2002 second album. They made a lot of musical style changes by the time their fourth album was released in 2005. By then, they started incorporating more keyboards, experimental sounds, and electronic beats.
