Freeman Coliseum, situated in San Antonio, Texas, has established itself as a premier venue for a diverse array of events, from sports and concerts to trade shows and circuses. Initially serving as the largest indoor arena in San Antonio until 1968, it has been a pivotal site for making San Antonio concert debuts by many top recording artists. Historically, the Coliseum was the proud host of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo until 2003, before the event moved to the adjacent AT&T Center. Despite this, it still hosts stock show and exhibit aspects of the rodeo, showcasing its continued relevance and adaptability. Moreover, it served as the home ground for the WNBA's San Antonio Stars in the 2015 season, accommodating professional sports teams like the San Antonio Iguanas and San Antonio Dragons hockey teams, and hosting national rodeo league competitions. Notably, on February 26, 1983, the Coliseum was the venue for a significant boxing rematch between Alexis Arguello and Vilomar Fernandez, further emphasizing its importance in the sporting world. Freeman Coliseum is versatile in terms of capacity, seating 9,500 for motor sports and rodeos, 9,800 for basketball, and up to 11,700 for concerts, boxing, and wrestling, facilitated by a considerable ceiling height of 77 feet. It offers significant space for trade shows, with 31,250 square feet of arena space and an additional 129,500 square feet across four adjacent exhibit halls.
