About Lincoln Financial Field

Lincoln Financial Field opened in 2003 after two years of construction. The field is home to the Philadelphia Eagles NFL team and Temple University’s Temple Owl football team. The venue took the place of the Veterans Stadium, which was home to both the Philadelphia Phillies and the Eagles. Lincoln Financial Field is similar in capacity to the old stadium, but added luxury seating, modern services, and more accessibility.

Lincoln Financial Field Rules

Every time this venue has a game, concert, or special event, it hosts tens of thousands of people. There are many rules that need to be enforced. Public intoxication is prohibited, for example, as are firearms. Fireworks, drones, and helmets are also prohibited.

You are allowed to bring food along with you, but everything must be wrapped in clear plastic, and you cannot bring any cutlery along, so make sure any food is hand friendly.

You can also bring a camera, but the lenses have to be 6” in length or less.

Lincoln Financial Field Bag Policy

Any bag you bring into the stadium but it is subject to being searched at any time. If you do not submit to the search, you may be asked to leave. Bags are not admitted unless they are 12x6x6” or smaller. You cannot bring purses or backpacks larger than the size listed, and all bags must be see-through so they can be examined by staff with ease. If you have larger bags, you can leave them at nearby suitcase storage facilities until after your event.

Lincoln Financial Field Seating

Configuration of seats may vary between events so make sure to check the event maps of the ticketing site from which you bought your tickets from. Confirm your seat location on the Lincoln Financial Field Seating Chart right here.

There is no seating on the field for any sporting event, however, some concerts offer on-the-field seats or standing room. There are also special events, like trade shows, that have booths to explore right on the field.
