Upstate Medical Arena (originally known as Onondaga County War Memorial and later as the Oncenter War Memorial Arena) is a multi-purpose arena located in Syracuse, New York. It is part of the Oncenter Complex. Upstate Medical Arena is significant as an example of a World War I, World War II and Aroostook War commemorative and as "an early and sophisticated example of single-span thin-shell concrete roof construction." The Upstate Medical Arena serves as the home arena for the Syracuse Crunch ice hockey team and has a rich history hosting various sports events, concerts, and other entertainment activities. It has hosted performances by legendary artists such as Queen, KISS, Bruce Springsteen, and Elvis Presley. Furthermore, it was a significant stop on Bob Dylan's electric tour in 1965.
