Demun Jones is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Jones County, Georgia, known for blending hip-hop with country, Southern rock, and acoustic roots music. Growing up as the third of six children, he was influenced by a wide range of artists including N.W.A., Tupac, Johnny Cash, and Otis Redding, developing a distinctly Southern country rap style. He gained wider recognition as a member of the rock-rap group Rehab before launching his solo career. His 2014 breakout single The Muddy Muddy paved the way for his debut album Jones County, followed by his sophomore effort Beast (2016). As an independent artist, Demun Jones has built a loyal fanbase through relentless touring and authentic storytelling rooted in the rural Georgia experience.
