Great Fun A Few Rough Calls

Fantastic night out and a brilliant environment for women's basketball, the place was buzzing from the opening tip. My one frustration was some of the officiating, which felt inconsistent and drew groans from the whole crowd at a few key moments. It did not spoil what was a genuinely thrilling game though, and the team battled hard right to the buzzer. The venue is easy to reach and the fan experience is top notch. Excited to see this franchise grow.

The atmosphere lived up to all the hype, loud, joyful, and genuinely welcoming to newcomers to the sport. My only real gripe is that tickets have become incredibly hard to come by and prices on the resale market are steep now that word has gotten out. Book well in advance. The intimate venue is a huge part of the charm, but it also means demand far outstrips the seats. Worth the effort to get in for such a historic season.

We watched them win in overtime and the whole place was deafening, everyone on their feet the entire fourth quarter. There is so much national pride in the room, handmade signs everywhere, and the intimate arena means every seat is close to the action. I went with friends who are not even sports fans and they are already begging to go back. Canada finally has its team.

Loved It But It Is Small

The team and the fans are wonderful, and there is a real sense of occasion being part of the inaugural season. Being honest, though, the arena is on the smaller side, so concourses and concessions get very congested at halftime, and the lines were long. Once you are in your seat the closeness to the court is fantastic and the energy is unmatched. A promising, historic first season, just be ready for growing pains at a smaller venue.

The team and the fans are wonderful, and there is a real sense of occasion being part of the inaugural season. Best New Sports Experience In Toronto

This is what going to a game should feel like. The crowd was fully charged, the in-arena entertainment and crowd participation were fantastic, and the team put on a show against a tough opponent. Marina Mabrey was unreal, and you can feel the roster gelling more every game. Super easy to get to on the GO train to Exhibition too. As a first-ever WNBA game for me, it made me an instant fan. I cannot recommend it enough.
