About Vanderbilt Commodores Baseball

The Vanderbilt Commodores baseball program represents Vanderbilt University in NCAA Division I as a member of the Southeastern Conference, playing home games at Hawkins Field in Nashville, Tennessee. Founded in 1886, the program transformed into a national powerhouse under head coach Tim Corbin, who took over in 2003 and became the winningest coach in program history. The Commodores won back-to-back College World Series appearances in 2014 and 2019, claiming national championships both years. The 2019 team posted a remarkable 59-12 record, setting an SEC single-season wins record. The program has produced numerous Major League Baseball stars including David Price, Dansby Swanson, Pedro Alvarez, and Walker Buehler, cementing Vanderbilt's reputation as one of college baseball's elite programs.
