Located in the city of Columbus, Value City Arena (the entire facility is known as the Schottenstein Center) is the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes basketball and men’s hockey teams. The Buckeyes men’s basketball team have always been among the stronger teams in college basketball, with 27 qualifications for the NCAA March Madness postseason tournament including 5 appearances in the championship final, which they won in 1960. Able to accommodate nearly 20,000 fans, Value City Arena is one of the largest basketball/hockey venues in the NCAA. The student supporters’ section is known as the Buckeye Nuthouse.
