Slow Pulp is an indie rock band composed of vocalist Emily Massey, bassist Alex Leeds, drummer Teddy Mathews, and guitarist Henry Stoehr. Formed in Madison Wisconsin by the latter three, who were all friends from childhood, Slow Pulp got the boost it needed in 2017 when Massey joined their ranks. Their first studio album Moveys was finished and released during the COVID-19 pandemic, receiving great reviews from critics and selling quite well. After the end of the pandemic, Slow Pulp began touring to promote their album as well as working on a second album, Yard, which was released in 2023, and have continued to amass a loyal following of fans in recent years.
