Circuit of the Americas

Capacity: 120,000

Opened: April 2013

All of America’s biggest Formula One competitions have raced on the 3.41-mile racetrack of the Circuit for the America (COTA). The F1 complex was launched in 2013, and its circuit was the first US track purposely built with Formula One races in mind.

Since 2013, it has hosted NASCAR’s Texas Grand Prix, US Grand Prix, Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Americas, a round of MotoGP, and many other competitions. Today, the track is still popularly known as one of the best circuits in America, and as F1 keeps breaking into American entertainment, it should get a lot more attention.

The Circuit of the Americas is not only a Formula 1 spot because it was built with facilities to entertain guests beyond just racing. The most iconic of all its facilities is the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. It is the most iconic because while the circuit brings big races to Texas, the Amphitheater brings popular artists and large concerts.

The architects of the Circuit built an Observation tower that can take visitors 230 feet above the ground to get a panoramic view of the beautiful circuit. Right at the base of this tower, America’s most listened-to artists have performed to large crowds in the Germania Insurance Amphitheater.

Circuit of the Americas Events

The primary purpose of the Circuit is to host Formula One competitions, and so far, it has been doing excellently by attracting top-rated races to Texas. We expect more collaborations as F1’s popularity spreads wider across the country. You can grab a ticket for the next big competition and witness the thrill of the tracks firsthand.

Many people with no interest in Formula One still enjoy being at COTA because of the Germania Amphitheater. The theater has hosted shows from Kendrick Lamar, the Foo Fighters, Maroon 5, Kanye West, KISS, Janet Jackson, and many other top artists. Its 14,000 capacity and beautiful environment make it a great place to host a concert and excite the audience.

The action in the Circuit of the Americas never stops because there will always be F1 competitions using the tracks, Some popular artists have also booked the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. In 2024, 21 Savage, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, and Besame Mucho will perform at COTA. Check TicketX for updates on the upcoming shows, and grab an early, cheap ticket to secure your space.
