About Glom

Glom is the indie rock project of Brooklyn-based musician Sean Dunnevant, originally from Washington, D.C. The project began as a six-piece band — with Dunnevant and longtime collaborator Sahil Ansari at its core — formed from a group of friends who first met in middle school in the D.C. area and began playing music together in high school. After Dunnevant skipped college to tour with a band straight out of high school, he eventually returned to music with the Brooklyn lineup, releasing debut album Bond in 2019 and sophomore album Merit in 2020. Their sound blends the anthemic choruses of 1990s alternative rock, the lush textures of shoegaze, and the tight rhythms of late-1980s post-punk. The band earned placement on Spotify's Fresh Finds Rock playlist with the 2020 single "Matches." Glom has since evolved into a solo endeavor for Dunnevant, who signed with Nettwerk Music Group and released his third album Below on January 9, 2026 — the project's first as a fully solo venture. The band is represented by WME.
