About Lily Allen
Lily Allen is an English singer, songwriter, and actress born on May 2, 1985, in Hammersmith, London, to actor Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen. She rose to fame in 2005 after uploading demo tracks to MySpace, which quickly gained a massive following and led to a record deal with Regal Recordings. Her debut single Smile reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in 2006, and her debut album Alright, Still sold over 2.6 million copies worldwide. Her second album It's Not Me, It's You (2009) debuted at number one in the UK, earning her a Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist. Known for her witty, candid lyrics and genre-blending pop sound, Allen has released four studio albums and has also pursued acting on both the West End and Broadway stages.
