About Westlife
Westlife are an Irish pop group formed in 1998, consisting of Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, and Nicky Byrne. Originally from Sligo, the group evolved from a band called IOYOU before being signed to RCA Records under the management of Louis Walsh and Ronan Keating of Boyzone. Their debut single Swear It Again (1999) topped the charts in both the UK and Ireland, and the band went on to become one of the most successful boy bands of their era, with their first seven singles all debuting at number one in the UK. Brian McFadden was a member until 2004. After disbanding in 2012, Westlife reunited in 2018 and have continued releasing music, including Spectrum (2019) and Wild Dreams (2021), maintaining a passionate global fanbase.
